A Prayerful Beginning

"Dear Lord,"

"So far today, God, I've done all right.

I haven't gossiped, haven't lost my temper, 

I haven't been greedy, grumpy, nasty, selfish, or even indulgent.

"I'm thankful for that....

But in a very short time, God, I'm going to get out of bed, and from that moment on, I'm going to need a lot of help!

"Thank You. Amen."
